About BiteFrame
A practical starting point for cooking from a photo
BiteFrame turns photos of dishes, ingredients, and leftovers into recipe drafts. It is built for home cooks who need a useful idea for what is already in front of them, with quantities and steps they can review before entering the kitchen.
How recipes are created
A generated recipe begins with details inferred from the uploaded image. The system proposes a dish, ingredient list, quantities, and cooking method. Users can save recipes to their collection and browse recipes shared through the community catalog. Public recipe pages identify the complete ingredient list and instructions available for that recipe.
Image analysis is not a laboratory test. Hidden ingredients, allergens, exact quantities, doneness, and food freshness cannot be confirmed from appearance alone. Treat each generated recipe as a draft and compare it with the food and packaging you have.
Our publishing standard
- A public recipe must include a specific title, ingredients, and usable step-by-step instructions.
- Recipe descriptions should explain the dish rather than repeat a generic template or a list of search terms.
- Uploaded images and recipe text must be content the contributor has the right to share.
- Recipes should not make medical, allergy-safe, or guaranteed nutrition claims that cannot be verified.
Cook with your own judgment
Check ingredient labels for allergens, avoid ingredients that are spoiled or unsafe, prevent cross-contamination, and use a reliable food thermometer where appropriate. Adjust cooking time for your appliance and the size of the food. For a medically prescribed diet, use guidance from a qualified health professional rather than relying on an image-generated recipe.
